Roxas & Company Inc. (RCI) said it will build a P1.7 billion renewable energy project in Nasugbu, Batangas.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), RCI said its Board of Directors has authorized the company the incorporation of a new company to develop, construct and operate a 30 to 50 megawatt renewable energy project in its special meeting yesterday.
The board also authorizes the preparation, processing, and finalization of applications for the development of the power plant with government agencies.
RCI is the holding company of the Roxas Group. Its main holdings are raw real estate located in Nasugbu, Batangas, sugar-related assets and businesses held through Roxas Holdings, Inc. (RHI) and real estate development through its property arm, Roxaco Land Corporation (Roxaco).
